Uttarakhand Space Application Center Walk in Interview
A Walk in Interview will be conducted in the Director’s room at 131, phase- 2, Vasant vihar, Dehradun on 3rd April, 2012 at 11:00 am to select the candidates for engagement against following positions under department of space sponsored projects on contractual basis initially for a period of 6 months.
The candidates along with bio data, a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of all educational certificates and other relevant documents are to be submitted to Director, Uttarakhand space application center Dehradun at the time of interview at 11:00 am on 3rd April , 2012
Age Limit for following positions are 35 years.

Post Name: Project Associate -1
Essential Qualifications: First class Msc in Geology or High second class ( More then 55%) Msc in Geology with minimum 3 years project experience in the use of Remote Sensing, GIS in Geology and Disaster management.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having working experience in the use of remote sensing and GIS will be given preference.
Pay: Rs 16000/- per month
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow -2
Essential Qualifications: First class M.sc. in Geology
Pay: 14000/- per month
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow -2
Essential Qualifications: First class M.sc. in Geology/Chemistry
Pay: 14000/- per month
Term and conditions:
1. Only short listed candidates will be interviewed, if it is so desired a written test may also be conducted.
2. The above positions are purely temporary, contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the projects.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk in interview.
4. The engagement of the candidates under above does not entail him/her any right of absorption/regularization against any post in Uttarakhand space application center.
5. Number of positions may be increased or decreased.
6. The Centre reserves the right not to fill p above or any position.
7. Director’s decision in all the matters shall be final and binding.
8. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION.
