Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). SAC focuses on design of space borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO and development and operationalisation of Space Technology for National development.  

Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO invites application for the post of Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Technician-B, Technical Assistant on regular basis.  Last Date for submission of application is 02 November 2015.

Pay Scale:
For 1 to 4: Rs 9300-34800/- (GP 4600/-)
For 5 to 7: Rs 5200-20200/- (GP 2000/-)

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification: 

1. Scientific Assistant:  B.Sc Degree with First Class in Computer Science / Information Technology from recognized University/ Institution
2. Library Assistant: Graduate + Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent (First Class) from recognized University / Institution
3. Technical Assistant (Electrical):  Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) in Electrical Engineering (First Class) from recognized Institution / Board / University.
4. Technical Assistant (Mechatronics): Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) in Mechatronics Engineering /Instrumentation & Control Engineering (First Class)from recognized Institution/ Board/ University  
5. Technician-B (Electrician): SC/SSLC Pass + ITI (NCVT) in Electrician Trade
6. Technician-B (Machinist): SC/SSLC Pass+ ITI(NCVT) in Machinist Trade
7. Technician-B (Electronics/IT):  SSC/SSLC Pass + ITI (NCVT) in Electronics / IT Trade
