Public Service Commission West Bengal invites application for the post of Post Graduate Teachers, Inspector of Legal Metrology, Sub Editor in Hindi, Assistant Managers on regular basis.  Last Date for submission of application is 30 November 2015.

Pay Scale:
Post Graduate Teachers: Rs 9000-40500/- (GP 4800/-)
Inspector of Legal Metrology: Rs 9000-40500/- (GP 4400/-)
Sub Editor in Hindi: Rs 9000-40500/- (GP 4400/-)
Assistant Managers: Rs 9000-40500/- (GP 4600/-)

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification: 
Post Graduate Teachers: Master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University. passed Madhyamik or Higher Secondary Examination from any English Medium School of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education, or its equivalent examination with English as first language

Inspector of Legal Metrology: Graduate of a recognised university in Science (With Physics as one of the subjects), Technology or Engineering;–OR –Holdsa recognised diploma in Engineering with three years experience in the field of Engineering in which the candidate has earned the diploma or in the field of Legal Metrology;
AND is able to speak, read and writethe regional language of the state, i.e., Bengali /Nepali for the candidates from the hill area of Darjeeling District

Sub Editor in Hindi: An Honours degree from a recognised University; 3 (three) years experience as Sub-Editor or working Journalist in any media house of repute; or 3 (three) years experience as Mass Communication practitioner in the Public Relations Wing of Government, Semi Government Organisation and/or Corporate House or reputed Advertisement Agencies with experiences of bringing out house journals and publicity materials in print media; Knowledge, experience and ability to prepare original manuscripts in Hindi and reproductions of illustrations;Knowledge, experience and ability to translate from English to Hindi and vice versa; Thorough knowledge and ability of proof reading in Hindi; Knowledge, experience and ability to undertake and supervise computer aided page designing

Assistant Managers: A degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with Botany or Horticulture as one of the subject, or a Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of subject (preference being given to a person holding Honours Degree in Science of a recognised university with Botany as one of the subject)
