The National Institute of Technology, NIT Warangal invites application for the post of Assistant Professor, Scientific/Technical Officer, Junior Assistant, Lab Assistant, Attendant on contractual basis through Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disability.  Last Date for submission of application is 06 November 2015.

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification: 

Assistant Professor: Ph.D in relevant Subjects (See notification below for more details)

Scientific/Technical Officer: (i) BE/B.Tech.(CSE/IT) or M.Sc.(CSE/IT)/MCA Degree with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 points scale) and consistently excellent academic record.
OR (ii) Employees of the Institute serving as Technical Asst. (Selection Gr.II) for at least 6 years (Grade Pay Rs.4,800/- ) or higher in the institute. (Age bar not applicable; no relaxation in qualification or academic standard)

Junior Assistant: 10+2 in any discipline with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet

Lab Assistant: B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute (Laboratory Assistant)
OR Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade (Technician or Work Assistant)
OR Metric with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 year’s duration in appropriate trade (Technician or Work Assistant)
OR Diploma in Engineering of three years’ duration from a recognized Polytechnic/ Institute (Technician, Work Assistant)

Attendant :Matriculation or ITI or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or Institute
