Pay Band:
1. Scientist  : Rs 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 6600/-
2. Senior Scientist: Rs 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 7600/-

Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India

Age Limit:
1. Scientist  : 32 vacancies
2. Senior Scientist: 37 vacancies

The upper age limit is relaxable upto 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per Government orders in force only in those cases where the post are reserved for respective categories,on production of relevant certificate in the prescribed format signed by the specified authority at the time of interview

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist  : Ph.D. (submitted) in the area of Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Zoology / Biotechnology/Chemical Sciences / Medicinal Chemistry / Natural Product Chemistry / Process Chemistry / Chemical Biology / Analytical Chemistry
OR  Pharmacology or M.V.Sc. in Pharmacology / Pharmacology & Toxicology / Pathology
OR Ph.D. (Submitted) in the area of Pharmacology, Toxicology.

2. Senior Scientist: Ph.D. (submitted) in the area of Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Zoology / Biotechnology/Chemical Sciences / Medicinal Chemistry / Natural Product Chemistry / Process Chemistry / Chemical Biology / Analytical Chemistry
OR  Pharmacology or M.V.Sc. in Pharmacology / Pharmacology & Toxicology / Pathology
OR Ph.D. (Submitted) in the area of Pharmacology, Toxicology with 2 year post-doctoral experience in relevant area.
