National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country.

NIHFW New Delhi invites application for the post of Consultant (Policy/Public Health/demography/health financing background), Consultant Demography, Technical Assistant and Multi-tasking staff through Walk-in Interview.  Date of Interview for Consultants is 23 November 2015 and for rest 27 November 2015.

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification: 
Consultant (Policy/Public Health/demography/health financing background): MD in Community Medicine / Community Health Administration/ PSM OR PhD in Population Sciences/ Demography/Statistics/ Social Sciences.
AND Good publications in peer reviewed journals. At least 15 years post qualification experience in the field of Policy, Public health, Demography, Population and Health Financing, Monitoring & Evaluation Studies, Advocacy And Social Mobilization.

Consultant Demography: PhD in Demography/ Population Sciences/ Statistics. At least 8 years post qualification experience of data analysis (using statistical software packages like SPSS/ SAS/SPECTRUM/METLAB/STATA etc) in health sector (especially in Demography & Population Sciences). Proven experience of conducting research studies in the field of family planning, maternal health, population stabilization

Technical Assistant: Graduate with Diploma in Computer Application from recognized institute and At least 2 years post qualification experience in related field

Multi-tasking staff: Minimum 10th Pass and At least 3 years post qualification experience of working in a government/semi-government/autonomous organization showing evidence in support of jobs mentioned in scope of work
