Medical Officer Selection Board, Government of India, Minstry of Home affairs, Sashatra Seema Bal SSB invites application from the Indian Citizens (Male & Female) for appointment to Group ‘A’ post of Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) & Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) in Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB & Assam Rifles). Last Date of submission of Application is 13 December 2015
Post:
1. Medical Officers : 372 vacancies
2. Specialist Medical Officers: 220 vacancies
Pay Band:
1. Medical Officers : Rs 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 5400/-
2. Specialist Medical Officers: Rs 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay 6600/-
Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India
Age Limit:
1. Medical Officers : Not exceeding 30 Years as on last date of receipt of application
2. Specialist Medical Officers: Not exceeding 40 Years as on last date of receipt of application
Relaxation is admissible as below
1. Upto a maximum of five years for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidates.
2.Upto a maximum of three years for Other Backward Class candidates.
3. Upto a maximum of five years in the case of Government servants.
4. Upto a maximum of five years in the case of Medical Graduates who joined the Army Medical Corps as Short Service Commissioned Officers and are released after completing the initial period of assignment of five years

Application Fee:All General and OBC candidates are required to submit a non refundable crossed IPO/Bank Draft/Banker Cheque of Nationalized Bank for Rs. 100/- only in favour of Commandant, 25th Bn, SSB, Ghitorni, payable at State Bank of India, Sultanpur , New Delhi, Code No. 06837 along-with application form. SC,ST & Female candidates are exempted from paying fees
Covers containing applications must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SPECIALIST MEDICAL OFFICERS (DEPUTY COMMANDANT)/MEDICAL OFFICERS (ASSISTANT COMMANDANT) in CAPFs –2015. The application must be accompanied by two self addressed stamped envelopes of 11.5 cms x 27.5 cms size.

A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicine s included in the first or second schedule or Part–II of third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part–II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI before appointment in any of the CAPFs.
2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may be undergoing the rotating internship shall be eligible to apply and appear for the interview provided that if selected, they shall have satisfactory completed the compulsory internship before appointment.
