Nationality: A Candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee

Qualification:
1. Senior Scientific Officer: : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized U niversity or equivalent. Two years experience in production, development or quality assurance in the field of aircraft/missile/air armament and other airborne stores and related ground support equipments. Certificate course in German or French or Russian is desirable:

2. Joint Secretary:: Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government.
Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of thirteen years; Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for thirteen years; Or Should have been a Central Government Servant who has had experience in Legal Affairs for thirteen years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner who has practiced as such for thirteen years; Or Should have been a teacher of Law for thirteen years in a recognised Institution; Or Should have thirteen years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central Government or State Government; Or Should have thirteen years’ experience of drafting of statutes in Central / State Government;
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government; Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of fifteen years; Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for fifteen years; Or Should have been a Central Government Servant who has had experience in Legal Affairs for fifteen years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practiced as such for fifteen years; Or Should have been a teacher of Law for fifteen years in a recognised Institution; Or Should have fifteen years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central Government or State Government; Or Should have fifteen years’ experience of drafting of statutes in Central Government or State Government; and Passed Secondary School Examination or any higher Examination from a recognised board or university or Institution through Hindi medium or had offered Hindi as a subject in Secondary School Examination or any higher examination from a recognised board or university or any institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government.


3. Professor: B.E. / B.Tech in (Civil Engineering) and ME /M Tech in Soil Mechanics/Foundation Engineering/Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics/Transportation Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME / M.Tech and Ph. D or equivalent with specialization in Soil Mechanics/Foundation Engineering/Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics/Transportation Engineering. Post Ph. D publications and guiding Ph. D student is highly desirable. Minimum of 05 years experience in teaching /research/industry of which 2 years post Ph.D experience is desirable. If a Class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division.

4. Associate Professor: B.E. / B.Tech and ME/M Tech in in relevant subject of engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME / M.Tech and Ph D or equivalent with specialization. Post Ph D publications and guiding Ph D student is highly desirable. Minimum of 05 years experience in teaching /research/industry of which 2 years post Ph. D experience is desirable. If a Class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division.
